Shipping & Container Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Shipping & Container Specialist to support daily shipping operations and container logistics. This hands-on role ensures accurate, timely shipment of goods while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting overall warehouse efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment ????? to customer and company standards
  • Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, invoices, customs forms)
  • Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight providers) to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness
  • Update inventory and shipment data in WMS/ERP systems
  • Load/unload and manage sea/rail containers, including tracking and documentation
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
  • Maintain clean, organized shipping and staging areas
  • Partner with production and customer service teams to support on-time delivery
  • Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3+ years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience
  • Forklift certification required
  • Experience with shipping systems/WMS and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Active warehouse environment with standing, walking, bending, and lifting (25+ lbs)
  • Exposure to standard warehouse conditions, equipment, and materials
